Geographical features: highest mountain --> Aragats, 4090 m; longest river --> Aras (section) 914 km; largest lake --> Sevan, 1417 sq km.
Geography: Armenia is a mountainous country and contains the Armenian plateau. Extinct volcanos and lava plateaus, which rise out of the deep ravines, shape the landscape.
