TO ALL PEOPLE OF GOOD WILL

This is not the question of Armenia or Azerbaijan as perpetuated by the mass media. Nor is this is a question of Russia and Turkey, or the European Union and the USA.
We speak about the mountainous Kharabakh region which is not a deserted territory. People live there no matter which nationality they are. All people have the right to freedom. The population of Kharabakh wants to be free. They want to be able to decide their own destiny not live under someone else’s yoke.
These people deserve the highest recognition, because despite the oil-dollars of Azerbaijan used to spread misinformation about Nagorno Kharabagh and its ambitions, the population of Kharabakh strongly uphold their right to freedom. All this is in a situation which would have lead to despair amongst other peoples for whom Freedom is of lesser value. “Better to die standing than to live kneeling!”
If you stand for Freedom, you stand for Nagorno Kharabakh. It is impossible to stand for personal Freedom, but be against the people of Kharabakh.
In this aspect Azerbaijan is the aggressor. If you accept this you can stop depending on false information and can judge with your conscience. No one should be forced to act against their conscience. No one should be manipulated to act against their conscience. This is more damaging than Covid.

World Tourism Day 27.09.2020

Armenian Guides Guild is sending warmest congratulations on World Tourism Day and highlights the important role of Tourism in intercultural communication and stability all over the world.
We wish our guests and tourists the wonderful world again, safe, healthy without COVID-19 and peaceful, in both urban and rural parts throughout the world, including Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). While peaceful villagers there were picking up crops in the fields and farms, “Early this morning, the Azerbaijani side launched missile attacks along the entire line of contact targeting also the peaceful settlements, including the capital Stepanakert.” (Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, 27 September 2020)
