Armenian Guides Guild in Moscow

2018-04-28

The Armenian Guides Guild represented the WFTGA International Training Centre of Yerevan in Moscow in the framework of the holiday "Day of Moscow Guide". It was held on the 28th of April, 2018. Due to the invitation of the Association of Moscow Guides, from the name of the Armenian Guides Guild I, Ella Khudaverdyan, went to Moscow. I should say that Moscow is a unique city with its history, wonderful buildings, narrow streets and wide avenues. The best thing I can advise is to go there and to invite a tourist guide and I can assure that you will get acquainted with a completely different Moscow. On the 28th of April, on the holiday of Moscow guides, there was held a conference dedicated to tourism. The first part of the conference was held in the park "Zaryadye", and there were invited famous guests and guides from different regions of Russia. Different topics and problems referring to tourism were discussed. I would like to mention that the problems in Armenia and in Russia were similar. After the conference there was organized a gala dinner, and the whole delegation went to the Government House of Moscow to take part in the official part of the program. Our wonderful guide Snezhana did a very interesting city tour for us. Thanks a lot to her! During the official ceremony, having a speech I introduced the WFTGA (World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations) International Centre of Yerevan, Armenia. Many colleagues got interested and expressed the wish to take part in the training courses. There were also the speeches of our colleagues from Georgia, Crimea, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Saint Petersburg, Udmurtia and so on. Everything was very interesting and very well organized. Thanks a lot to our wonderful colleagues Snezhana, Marina, Larisa and to all for the warm hospitality.
